My Grandparents were married at St Johns Parish Church, Ipswich, on 5 March 1917.

This was typical dress for a working class wedding. If the groom was in the forces then he would wear his uniform not a suit.

The bridesmaids are wearing very simply cut dresses and the older ones are wearing mobcaps instead of hats.
