Links

  • Knightroots Has a growing number of parish records, photographs and a comprehensive collection of links for Hants researchers.
  • Eastleigh Cemeteries database Covers the four cemeteries run by Eastleigh Council. Eastleigh Cemetery, the biggest, may prove a disappointment to visit, as very many of the little lead grave markers have been removed, and some of the gravestones have been flattened in such a way that the inscriptions are not visible. I haven't been to the other three, so am unable to comment on them.
  • Headley, Grayshott and the surrounding area. A site with a wealth of historical information, mainly about Headley but also includes Grayshott, Liphook and Churt with links to other sites covering Hampshire and Surrey. Includes Parish Register and Census transcripts, photographs and miscellaneous historical records from 1210 until the present day.
  • Hampshire Maps A very comprehensive collection of old Hampshire maps available on line.
